Effective Monday, February 2, DCV Registros S.A., a subsidiary of the Depósito Central de Valores (DCV), is the entity responsible for managing Banco Santander Chile’s shareholder registry.
Though the collaboration began in the fourth quarter of 2025, the decision was officially announced at the bank’s most recent shareholders’ meeting. “This transition is very good news for our shareholders. The DCV is the industry standard in terms of administration and the work that needs to be done. This aligns with our goal of making their lives easier and ensuring they receive better service,” commented Cristián Vicuña, the bank’s manager of Strategic Planning and Investor Relations.
With this step, DCV Registros adds Banco Santander Chile to its client portfolio, thereby completing the management of the registry for commercial banks established in the domestic market. This advancement reinforces the company’s role as a provider of specialized services for issuers and participants in the Chilean capital market.
In this context, Rodrigo Roblero, General Manager of DCV, noted that this milestone reflects the trust that financial institutions place in the company’s infrastructure and expert teams; “for us, it is very important to support issuers such as Banco Santander Chile in processes that require the highest standards. This transfer is the result of coordinated work between the bank’s teams and those of DCV Registros, which enabled the migration to be carried out in an orderly manner and within the defined deadlines.”

Banco Santander Chile also praised the transition process. Cristián Vicuña highlighted the efficiency of the work carried out over the past few months: “The experience has been very positive for us. The DCV team has been very diligent and quick in moving forward with a project that began in September and was implemented between January and February. Everything has gone smoothly and as expected”.
Along those lines, he added that the process involved managing relevant historical information from the bank. “We are a company that has been publicly traded for over 30 years, so we have records dating back to the 1980s, many of which were originally in physical format. The entire process was handled very well, and we are very pleased with the results.”
DCV Registros is the DCV subsidiary responsible for managing shareholder and contributor records. The company offers services with high standards of security, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance, in addition to the infrastructure and expertise of the DCV as part of the national financial market infrastructure.
