Dear Depositors,
As is public knowledge, Law 21453, updated in 2022, determined that private entities in charge of the deposit and custody of securities, as well as other entities belonging to the financial system, are obliged to provide the Internal Revenue Service (SII) with information on balances and credits in accounts of customers domiciled and/or residing in Chile, when these reach or exceed 1,500 Development Units (UF).
In 2024, DCV will provide this information to SII in the first half of March, so we ask you to update your domicile and/or residency information in Chile.
Depositors may update their residency if needed by contacting the Help Desk (MAC) and use the investors’ maintenance module in DCV’s graphic interface to update the residency information associated with their investors. The deadline to update this information is February 29, 2024.
