Confirmation of Custodial Balances – Initiating the Process and the Concurrent Process for Equity Issuers

Dear Participants,

We are beginning the confirmation period for custodial balances for the third quarter of 2025, with information as of September 30. This process will start on October 3 and continue until October 31.

It is important to note that, as this is a platform still in development, we have been adding modules for confirming custodial balances. In this case, we will also run the balance confirmation process for equity issuers in parallel.

As a result, the process will be conducted in the following manner:

• Custodial balances can only be confirmed through the digital app.
• Confirmation of equity balances is conducted simultaneously by the institution as issuer, utilizing letters sent by the auditors from the Supervisory Committee for confirmation.
• Confirmation of fixed income or financial intermediation balances, wherein the institution acts as the issuer, is completed through verification letters sent by the auditors of the Supervisory Committee.

It is crucial that users performing this task have the necessary profiles assigned in the digital application for balance confirmation. Each participant’s security administrators are responsible for assigning these roles.
