Dear Participant
Depósito Central de Valores informs participants that as of yesterday, Monday October 6, some European markets changed their settlement period from T+3 to T+2 for shares and foreign securities, thus diminishing the counterparty risk.
As informed by Euroclear – DCV’s custodian in Europe – it is important that participants monitor the settlement period for the instruments traded so that the International Customer Help Desk (InterMAC) is properly instructed on their settlement date and thereby avoid failed operations.
On this occasion we are attaching the new International Custody Service operations manual which includes this change for some European markets.
InterMAC will be able to help validate the instruments’ settlement status should any concerns arise and, in the event of any inquiries,
Yours sincerely,
DEPÓSITO CENTRAL DE VALORES S.A.,
