THE PURPOSE OF A SELF-MANAGEMENT PROGRAM IS TO ALLOW EACH EMPLOYEE TO BECOME A PROTAGONIST OF THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.

For the second consecutive year DCV launched the training portal. It regards an information and management site so that employees can be aware of the flexible training opportunities offered by DCV, in relation to the level of scholarships and self-management training. It also has a library section where areas can share information of interest that promote knowledge management.

This program seeks that employees can be protagonists of their learning and define, within the alternatives of technical courses, business and transversal skills, in an open and flexible way, their own professional growth and skills development.

This year, the self-management training program includes 4 methods:

  • Game learning: learning is accomplished using the game strategy; that is, the application of video games through internet connection. It has been proven that, through more playful learning, participants manage to incorporate skills to a higher extent.
  • In company: face-to-face courses, conducted by external rapporteurs, who are specialists in the topics to be taught. However, these topics are developed in our offices and only for DCV employees. Since they are closed courses, the contents have been adapted to our internal needs.
  • Outside: face-to-face courses, open and developed outside DCV’s premises. Although they do not contain customized content, they have the advantage of learning the reality of other businesses, through the interaction that is generated with students from other companies.
  • E-learning: online training method where you can connect from any device and at any time of day.

The topics covered in the courses are diverse, including; time management, negotiation, effective presentations, achieving results and problem solving, blockchain, delegation of responsibilities, public speaking, security in the use of mobile phones, safe use of public Wi-Fi, and others.
