Cristián Rodríguez and Jaime Munita join the Deposito Central de Valores’ Board - Depósito Central de Valores


At the ordinary shareholders meeting, held on March 26th, the Deposito Central de Valores’ (DCV) new Board was elected for a period of 2 years. Cristián Rodríguez, President of AFP Habitat, and Jaime Munita, General Manager of AFP Capital, joined the Board to replace Arturo del Río and Juan Carlos Reyes. Thus, the Board is now composed by Sergio Baeza, Arturo Concha, Juan Andrés Camus, Jorge Claude, Mario Gómez, José Antonio Martínez, Fred Meller, Jaime Munita, Cristián Rodríguez and Guillermo Tagle. Later, in the Board of Directors Meeting, Sergio Baeza was confirmed as Chairman and Arturo Concha as Vice chairman. DCV is a sociedad anónima created under Law 18,876. Its purpose is to safeguard public national and foreign securities that are traded in the market and provide ownership transfers of these securities through collection and payment mechanisms regarding position accounts that clients (depositors) hold in the company. It also manages securities in custody, giving notice of payment deadlines and providing information to investors regarding other corporate events.
