DCV renews its commitment with the Executive of the Year Award
FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR, THE DEPÓSITO CENTRAL DE VALORES (DCV) DECIDED TO RENEW ITS COMMITMENT WITH THE EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR AWARD, ORGANIZED BY REVISTA CAPITAL AND MUJERES EMPRESARIAs
During the past week, Fernando Yáñez, DCV’s General Manager, met with the executive directors of Mujeres Empresarias, Carolina Eterovic and Francisca Valdés, as well as with the editor of Revista Capital, Antonieta de la Fuente and the project director of the DF Group, Lorena Cavieres. On this occasion, Yáñez reiterated the Company’s commitment and its participation as jury of the 2019 Executive of the Year Award. “We are very proud as DCV to be part of this award, which at a national level highlights and makes visible the importance of women in companies in Chile”, Yáñez explained.
The initiative seeks to highlight the great management work female executives carry out in companies; its purpose is to encourage female participation in senior positions and highlight those women who have had outstanding achievements in carrying out their positions. This is the tenth version of the award, which through research allows for defining the most valued executive by companies in Chile under criteria that seeks to highlight excellence, management skills, innovation and influence.
Among the women who have won the Executive of the Year award in previous versions, the following stand out: Soledad Ovando, former General Manager of Banco Estado; Janet Awad, former CEO of Sodexo; Alejandra Mehech, former Human Resources Manager of Banco Santander; Susana Carey, former Chairman of the Chilean Supermarket Association A.G. and Katharina Jenny, occupational health and safety Corporate Manager of Antofagasta Minerals, among others.
