Regarding the transformation process and the new challenges of the financial market, DCV renews its image after 10 years.

The financial market is no longer the same. Technology changes the global system so quickly that the need for transformation and adaptation is vital. Survival relies on the potential to reinvent itself, and the challenge is to achieve it without losing what differentiates us and which has allowed us to become who we are.

Companies throughout their life cycle must evolve to adapt to new markets. Each company must know how to transform itself, in a reasonable manner, to prolong its good health and thus continue to project its values in the change process they face.

DCV is going through one of the biggest changes in its 26 years of existence with the DCV Evolution project. This project involves not only the transformation of the company’s technological platform, but also an internal transformation in order to face the new challenges of the financial market. This transformation process has encouraged us to also review the way we communicate and present ourselves to the world, which is why we have renewed our trademark image to show a more versatile, modern and better integrated identity in digital channels, safeguarding the company’s history.

With a leaner and more modern look, the DCV acronym remains at the center of its visual identity to preserve the trademark’s legacy. Meanwhile, the components of the logo have been simplified and digitized allowing its adaptation through different contexts and communication channels. The renewed identity reflects the values and greatness of DCV. This is shown by the use of capital letters in the typography to communicate in a better way the fact that we are the main provider of custody infrastructure, a leader in the development of services for the capital market.

We custody today the value of tomorrow, as corporate promise, has also evolved into a new slogan, due to the transformation of DCV and the creation of the new innovation and business area. Creating value reflects on the new way of generating innovation, which we define as “the creation of everything that adds value to the organization and that is perceived as new and better by its employees and clients”. This is because the new business area aims to generate services that allow to diversify markets and to create new business opportunities.

This motivation to evolve is also present in other companies in the industry. Accordingly, we have been looking at the trends and market references. The result is a renewed logo that communicates what we were, what we are and what we want to be, which reinforces our capabilities and leadership, which are increasingly more digital and global.
