“Since it was created, our company has focused on inclusion and respect for diversity. We are currently more than 250 employees, of which more than 40% are women working in the Company’s various levels”, explained DCV’s General Manager, Fernando Yáñez, during the signing of the agreement.

In its 8 last versions, the Female Executive Award has recognized women holding key corporate positions: Soledad Ovando, General Manager of BancoEstado Microempresas (2010); Janet Awad, General Manager of Sodexo (2011); Alejandra Mehech, Human Resources Manager of Banco Santander (2012); Susana Carey, President of the Chilean Supermarket Association (2013); Jesica Duarte, business manager of Walmart Chile (2014); Jessica López, General Manager of BancoEstado (2015); Agathe Porte, Chief Executive of BBDO Chile (2016); and Carmen Román, Chief Legal Counsel and Corporate Affairs Manager of Walmart Chile (2017).

“The inclusion of women in the highest levels of companies has evidenced several positive externalities, both financial and in the work environment. This is why the existence of awards like these, that encourage women to continue down this path and motivate more companies to open spaces for their development, are positive”, added Yáñez.
