With the start-up of the new DCV Evolution Platform (DCVe) that, as informed, will take place in June, DCV will only use the Microsoft Edge browser and will stop using Internet Explorer (IE). Similarly, a solution was found for the services that are not migrated to the new platform, such as the BRAA and Forward services, for the correct operation of Edge.
For this, DCV has purchased and makes available to its clients a Microsoft Edge addon called IETab that allows browsing from Microsoft Edge to the site that requires compatibility with different versions of Internet Explorer. The addon is made available to our clients through a company license.
This addon must be installed in the computers of the people operating with DCV services by June 15, 2022.
The attached installation guide contains the details of the entire process of installing IETab on personal computers.
Additionally, we provide a complete report detailing the safety tests and certifications performed by DCV and other external providers upon request. Please request it by emailing [email protected].
Furthermore, the DCV continues to work on a definitive solution for the deprecation of the TLS 1.0/1.1 protocol in non-migrated applications, which is mitigated by installing the IE Tab component.
